My grandmother is awesome ^_^
Jul. 3rd, 2017 04:38 pmI went to Sheringham with my lovely grandmother today for lunch. Earlier this year, I told her I'd never been on a train before, so she decided to take me there on the train.
I'mma sound super-doopy cheesy here, but today has been a great day of love, laughter, ice cream (I had coconut and she had salted caramel... coconut ice cream is actually my favourite food, so that was awesome), trying on silly hats and compliments on hair. I got complimented on my Hizaki-blonde streak by both my grandmother, and a woman in a sweet shop who had really nice spiky magenta hair.
As a reminder of our day out, she bought me a rainbow unicorn necklace. She also bought me a chocolate heart that says "I love you". She said I could choose something from the sweet shop, so I chose that because it was sweet and cute.
Also, I saw a little boy use a sign like a cat flap, and that was adorable. I also saw a sign near the train station encouraging people to put their banana peels/etc in the bin. It had a picture of an anthropomorphic peeled banana holding a banana peel in one hand and covering its naughty bits with the other with a cheeky grin on its face, and next to it, it said "Pull back the skin and pop it in!". So... yeah.
